SANDTRAY THERAPY: PLAYING IN THE DEEP

Participants will learn about the history of sandtray versus sandplay therapy and their major contributors.
Participants will become familiar with items needed for successful sandtray/sandplay therapy.
Participants will work in the metaphor with sandtray miniatures and sand.
Participants will learn about prompts for sandtray and the reasons for and against using them in practice.
Participants will engage in experiential sandtray personal work as a way of learning.
Participants will learn how to witness and process sandtrays.
Participants will process their sandtrays with partners with assistance from the presenter.
