THE SELF OF THE THERAPIST
Participants will become aware of how their own interpersonal relationships/trauma affects them as clinicians.
Participants will learn about the importance of self-care and various ways to engage in this.
Participants will discuss and engage in experiential activities with the purpose of getting in touch with their inner selves.
Participants will recognize their own needs and identify if and how their relationships with clients meet those needs.
Participants will explore countertransference in cases and how it can be used in the treatment planning process.
